Taking off Hub Centric Ring?
For my winter setup, I had to put on these plastic hubcentric rings in the center of the rims before installation. Now that I'm trying to switch to my 17 inch stocks, it won't come off. It seems to be melted on. I also see some rust. Do you guy have any idea on how to take it off?
I've tried to cut the ring off with a razor blade, but it's useless. I've also tried to pry it off with a flathead screwdriver, but it didn't help.

I would try a narrow width chisel, the type that carpenters use for wood working and a hammer and chisel a around the circumference of the rings a little at a time. Did you track your car often cause if not, they must be some cheap hub rings made out of the cheap softer plastic for them to melt around the hubs like that. If you track your car, you should really use aluminum hub rings with some anti-sieze.
