rotor replacement at 15000 miles?

not sure if any of you asked this, but today when I took my G in for the 15000 service, my service advisor called me and said that both of the front rotors needed replacing, as with the pads.... has any of you encountered this problem? Do you think this is premature wear on the rotors? any input will be greatly appreciated!!!

Insist Infiniti cover it or ask to see the zone rep. They have been covering this if you kick up a ruckus. Go to the NHTSA site and document your problem.

Re: rotor replacement at 15000 miles?

My front rotors and pads are gone at 15,000 miles. Both the dealer and Infiniti Consumer Affairs insist that this is "normal" wear for the brakes. Right now they will not pay for it. Can you give me some more details on how to get this covered by infiniti? Has anyone recently had their front pads and rotors covered under warranty??

i've heard our brakes wear out fast but that's crazy. i may have trade to a pre-owned gs430 if this continues. 15k is about average for most drivers. how much are most dealerships charging for the brakes?

About $500-$550 for front pads and new rotors in San Diego.

The price isn't bad but I have 135k on my Accord and I'm still on my 2nd set of rotors. They aren't in the same class of cars but they both have to stop.
