Based upon other's feedback, the 350z tien h techs will drop your car by .8 in in the front and .6 in in the back. I believe thats after they settle to. This is the set up I will soon go with.

hmmm i need to figure this out..i just upgraded to 20's from 18's..not sure how high the car is raised now from stock height...i need to match the stock ride height because of driveway clearance issues..some say the upgrade causes a .5 inch raise all the way around...not sure..tried all the calculators..still confusing.

I just did the same 2 weeks ago (18s to 20s) you should have whats like a two finger gap between your tire and wheel well, correct? If so then you might want to look at the tein htech (350z). I searched this product on the forums for countless hours and heard nothing but great reviews. Pair these spring up with some Tokico D-Spec shocks and you'll be set. Not to mention most people were able to keep their camber in factory specs.

I heard that the 350z Tein H Techs are a little bouncy at high speeds, especially on the freeway no?

Mike Deezy, you are correct. I don't have these springs on yet so I can't describe their ride characteristics with detail. However, for a subtile drop that will close the wheel gap and give the car a clean look...these seem to be the way to go. From a majority of the reviews, they do ride a little stiffer than stock, but not to bad.

teins drop front .8 in, rear.6 in. To answer your question, I want exactly what you want (stock ride height). I was able to park next to a stock coupe on 18 in wheels and it seems that we only need a half inch drop to be back to our stock height. Try searching for pictures of paranormal's ride...I think he has the htechs on twentys. I want the stock ride height and a clean drop because my car is a daily driver and I don't wnat the headaches that come with a slammed car.

Same setup with wheels except my back tires are 275/35/20. The espilars are cool....try searching for this post "lowered on espilar springs" the ride there looks sweet, but the springs do settle. After the htechs settle, you'll still be at or around .8 front and .6 rear.

The Tein 350Z H Techs have a stiffer spring rate than the G35 H Techs. If you don't want it to be too stiff, go with the G35 H Techs. They are a little bit softer than the Z H Techs. Either way, Tein are sweet springs. I have the G35 S Techs and I have absolutely no complaints.

I opted to go with the 350Z Tein H-Techs for a mild drop. However, the said springs have a lighter spring rate than my existing '05 sport tuned suspension springs.

So becuase the 350 H Techs is such a mild drop, less than an inch it looks like, no camber kit is needed right?

^^^Not necessarily. It varies from car to car. I know of a few people with S Techs that had to get a camber kit because their alignment was off by too much. I, on the other hand, didn't need to get a camber kit because the shop I went to was able to get the rears back to factory spec and the fronts are just off by a hair but not enough to justify a camber kit. Wait about a month to let your springs settle and then get a 4 wheel alignment done on your G to see where you stand.
