20" Maya MRS wheels

So I think I have narrowed it down to the Maya MRS in the Black Diamond / Anodized finish (it is the 3rd one over on the 1st row).
http://www.mayawheels.com/maya/

I think this will go very well with the Black 06 I will be getting in three weeks (if I sell my S2000 by then).

Since the sizes are very wide (20x9 F, 20x10.5 R), I think I want to go with a 255/35 20, and a 295/30 20, but I cannot find anyone that makes a 295, only 285. The odd thing is that you can find 295/35 19, which is 27.1 inches tall, but to get a 27 inch tall 20" tire, you would need the 295/30, yet no company makes it, at least not yet.

The other option is to go with a 245/35 and 285/30, but then the tire will have that extra rounded, stretched look, and it will be slightly shorter as well, and I want to fill the gap in the fender well as much as I can.

Your thoughts.

Honestly, I was also considering the MRS but decided instead on the STM - Diamond Graphite in 19". I am going with a 245 front and 275 rear set up...i think 255 front and 295 is pushing it though especially with 20" wheels - you might rub.

I know you want to fill the wheel wells but honestly, I don't think there is going to be much space left after you put the 20s on. I think 245 front and 285 rear is your best bet - pass on the 295s.

I actually have 255/35 20 on my 2004 Acura TL, with no rubbing at all, and the diameter of the wheel well on the G is actually slightly larger, so I should be fine, especially since the Maya wheels have a fairly conservative offset. I also think that 255 is the best width for a 9 inch wide wheel, and 295 for a 10.5, so if I could find it, this would be the way I would go.

Interestingly, the Michelin Pilot sport 285/30 20 actually measures 27.0 inches in diameter, as apposed to most companies 26.7 or 26.8. This makes it a good match with the 255/35 20, which is also 27 inches. The only downside is that the 285 is only 30 mm wider than the 255, so it really should have a 10 inch wide rear wheel, not the 10.5 that the Maya's are. I like it when both the front and rear shoulder of the tire looks the same, not when one is more stretched than the other.

I thought I read that somewhere but there website does not show this size. Any idea where I can find out for sure?

Where did you see them?

The only downside is the Proxes 4 tread desing sucks.

I had those on my 20's and hated them. Extremely noisey especially on 20's. I got the the T1R now and it's like night and day. I wouldn't get them if I were you.

Since the Dunlop Sport Maxx in the 283/30 20 is 26.8 in diameter, only .2 smaller than the 295/30 in the Proxes 4, and just as wide, I don't think it is worth it. I think I will just go 245/35 20 and 285/30 20 in the Sport Maxx. My hope is that BFG would make a 295/30 in the KDW, as that tread looks so good on the G coupe.
