I purchased this g35 from a resident in the building where I work. He was an out-of-state college kid from Chicago who had recently bought a new car and left the Infiniti in the parking garage since the beginning of the pandemic. During my rounds, I decided to leave a note on the windshield of the car in hopes that the owner would give me a call. It was about 7 months more before I received a call regarding the G35. The guy seemed so confused. Not sure why. The car was dusty af but seemed well maintained. It immediately needed a battery as the old one wouldn't take the jump. He also mentioned it once overheating on him upon returning from a trip and was informed by a mechanic that the head gaskets were leaking. I popped in the new battery and statured her up. We settled on a cool $700 as some of the repairs would pretty much make up that difference. My sis drives a Hyundai Tiburon and kept saying "You gotta steal bro! Now we both have coupes!" I drove about 40 mins home in a little traffic and she overheated about 20 mins into the trip and then began to smoke. I pulled over, popped the hood and checked the usual. I had to get off the road and home so I let her cool down and started driving again. Coming from an old 1997 4-door cop car, it really felt great to sit low and hug those corners as I flew home.
