Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
As some say, my G35 is a bit of a cannibal, using parts from other Nissan/Infiniti vehicles.
When it comes to styling, my goal is to build off the overall styling cues of the design and not to be a total departure from the orginial design. Basically, it's my idea of how the factory should have offered the car.
When it comes to performance, I don't want to severely compromise throttle response, sound, driveability, or ride quality. Been there, done that. It gets old in a daily driver. Many of my mods are simply done to improve driveability, throttle response, and sound quality. I like a good solid linear sounding VQ, but I don't tolerate drone and rasp for 4whp.
The car has made about 20 1/4 mile passes. With a Z-tube, the car did low 14.3s@98mph in sea level conditions. With the MD 5/16 spacer, it's done higher 14.3s at almost 100mph in 1500' conditions. My goal is a 13.9@101mph.
The car is now getting auto-xd and it's a blast. It's a little big, but it holds it's own. The suspension and tires have really paid off. The car is far more precise and the limits far higher than stock.
