Dynamat vs Second Skin Damplifier Pro
Hey guys, so I was just about to purchase the Second Skin Damplifier Pro bulk kit (36 sq ft) for my front doors and my trunk. With shipping, this would cost me about 190$. Then simply out of curiousity, I thought I would check the price of dynamat, just so I could compare. And to my surprise, the dynamat was much much cheaper. A bulk pack of new dynamat xtreme is sold for 137$ shipped on ebay. So now im leaning on getting the dynamat.
Second Skin Damplifier - 140$ (50 sq ft) (will be able to get rear doors too)
Second Skin Damplifier Pro - $190 (36 sq ft)
Dynamat Xtreme - $137 (36 sq ft)
Which would you get?

All you have to do is buy a butyl based dampner and you will be fine.
Dynamat xtremes adhesives can take temperatures around 400F.
There are tons of reviews out there.
I used Dynamat Xtreme and did my doors, and wow. It sounds like knocking on a thick piece of wood. Or my ****.
I have to say that it doesn't wreak like the asphalt based applications I've installed on cars previously.
I used to have the volume at 23.
Now 18 hurts my ears.

yea man, i was texting him earlier and he told me about that. as for now, i think i might go with a roll of raam mat. its butyl, and i can get 62 sq ft of it for 140 shipped... i think i might do that for now, and if it needs more, ill get some second skin and cover up whereever else it rattles.
I was gonna get that but i tried the cascade first coz a team member of ours has a hook up on it
Post up once you get the raam mat in the car
