Problem with Stereo - Resetting

I just recently started having an issue where my stereo (pioneer 4400) will reset itself occasionally when the car turns off. It must be a momentary reset because the clock on the car still displays the correct time but the stereo returns to DEMO mode and i lose all of my presets.

It is wired properly becuase its worked fine for the last 2 years (turning on and off correctly). I took it to autozone and my battery/alternator/starter are all good.

is this a fuse issue? i'm not sure what it is.

also- this is NOT every time i turn off the car. just occasionally.

any help/thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Still got the warranty? Sounds like a defect.
