2005 Coupe 6MT $18k

^^^^ obviously someone owns a 03' 04' g35 auto. Facts are facts tho. The pre 05' gz hp rating were rated wrong. So they really didn't even make 260 to the crank. They had synchro and tranny issues. But they came with brembos lol
I could go on and on about the improvements with the 05' gz and up but I'm sure you already know. Your just acting childish at the moment urban engineer
Oh by the way the 04 auto puts down over 40 hp less stock to stock vs a revup so yea I would say a totally different car lmao smh

You both have points. Comparing an 03-04 auto with an 05 revup, obviously is a big difference amd should result in a large price gap. I think urbanengineer was referring to an 03-04 6mt sport vs an 05 rev-up, which isn't a massive upgrade in hp.
I do agree with you though, the majority of these cars have been molested and modded to death or have 180,000 miles on them, need repairs and are 85% past their useful lives and sell for $8k. Then along comes a mint top of the line mint loaded 6mt revup with over 85% of it's life still left and the asking price looks steep compared to the well worn daily drivers for sale.
As for upgraded parts, you can say that for every single car line, weak parts from first year new design models production runs are revamped and changed throughout the car's production life. I also agree with others, anyone buying this will lose a lot of value if they decide to daily drive it.

18k on a 11 year old car i wouldn't do it you can buy the same model for 4500 with 100k miles and do the engine or swap it and make it a beast, yes its a rare deal to find a good condition 6mt, it really depends on how long your going to keep the car if your going to make the car faster your going to dump thousands of dollars past what the value of the car is

The price seems high to you people because your g35 is either salvaged title, rebuilt title, has175k miles or an automatic transmission non revup. Or a combination of them all. Bottom line it's a revup 6mt coupe with very low miles. The price is set just right. Just not right for ricers lol
I try telling people who want to buy/sell g35s that there is a huge price difference in 03' 04' non revup vs 05' 06' 07' 6mt! It might look like the same exact car but the engine and transmission are a big step up from the early models

Its just not worth it buying a 11 year old car for that much.
