Dallas, TX Visitor

Hello.

I'll be driving down from Kansas to Dallas, TX next week to visit family (12/10 to 12/14); and I wanted to check with some forum members to see if anything exciting was going on while I was there.

I used to live in the Richardson and Plano area (parents live there), so I am familiar with the area. I wish I still lived down here. Kansas weather is not so good for RWD.

Are there any events or meets I can partake in to pass the time?

- Johnny

Thanks. There are not too many 350Z or G35 enthusiasts in the midwest. It's depressing. I can count all of them on one hand.

I was back in Overland Park last week for thanksgiving (I grew up there and my parents and family live in or around Kc) and wish I would have gotten out of there before the snow; but I didn't lol. At least it's a pretty easy drive down I35 the entire way.

But it was 70 degrees yesterday (50's today) so the weather is definitely an improvement.

I'm in the exact opposite situation. I'm from Dallas and I'm in Kansas for school. The weather got worse in less than 24 hours. It's almost 20 degrees outside plus wind chill.

I like it up here. The snow is only riciculous about 10 to 12 days out of the year, so it's not too bad. That's when the G stays in the garage for a few days.
