2004 G35 Need New TCM

Wife's came home from work and said the truck wouldn't open. Popped manually and rechecked the mechanics. All is well. No joy on the actuator. Getting a 12v pulse to the switch so I think it's safe to say I need a new one. Then the fun starts.

Get back into the car to start it and nothing. Everything powers up, but no starter. Not even a click. Check all fuses. Check all connections. Good voltage at the battery. No starter.

AAA tows her to the shop for what I expected to be a simple starter. Starter tests DOA. Starter replaced. New starter doesn't work. Benched tested OK. Put back in. Direct power to the starter fires the car up, but now it throws AT codes. U1000. U1001. Wiring harness checks out OK. All tests from the shop point to a dead TCM. Car production date is 12/03. Nothing behind the kick panel. Between the dates and the lack of a control panel in the interior say we get to pull the valve body.

Now the problem. The shop can't track down a replacement assembly.

Any thoughts/suggestions/ideas? Trying to track down the correct part on the net has proven to be challenging.

Buy a tansgo valvebody kit. Might as well just rebuild it with better, stonger components. Then grab a used TCM off ebay for $50 bucks.
