My Review of the [eBay] Wheel Spacer
Hey everyone, I've been on the market for some wheel spacers for a while ever since i upgraded from 17's to 19's and have been wanting that flush look that I've seen many driver members have. Initially I was planning on purchasing the Ichiba V2's in 25mm all sides, however after having done countless research into spacers; I was able verify that eBay spacers are just as well as the brand name ones as long as they were hubcentric. Even confirming this, I was still reluctant to purchase wheel spacers off eBay.
I finally pulled the trigger on some wheel spacers by "optionselect" after examining other wheel spacers for the g35. Some that I have found had no hub ring, and were lug centric instead of hub centric. I previously had my eyes on the 25mm spacer, however they were sold out so I purchased 2 pairs of 27mm for my g35 coupe. I ordered them on the 27th and it arrived to me within 2 days. Upon inspecting the spacer, it seemed to be excellently crafted. The overall weight of each spacer weighed about 2.5 pounds. The install will take place tommrow and hopefully the install goes well and the spacers don't have any problems, if so then I will purchase the Ichiba V2's. I will expand on this review tommrow and after a couple weeks to update you guys. If everything works, then hopefully this will provide you guys with another affordable wheel spacer option. The cost of a pair of 27mm spacer was 85.00 free shipping.

Bought mine from the same ebay seller. I never had the other brand spacers so i can't really compare it. Nevertheless, so far so good! Lovin the new stance for about 2 months now...roughly. The ebay listing description "Aluminum/Magnesium alloy. They are incredibly strong and very lightweight" was enough for me to believe its quality, not to mention it also says that "We have extremely high experience of wheel spacers". It's unbelievable how offsets and tire size changes the look of the wheels.
Three things to take note of,
1)if you're referring to aftermarket 19's, don't automatically assume it's also 66.1mm center bore. I had to buy additional hub rings, not that I terribly needed them. I just wanted to utilize it.
2)Also, you'll notice some of the lug bolts aren't completed seated all the way. You'll feel it when tightening some of the nuts down. It almost feels like you're cross treading it but then you'll feel a nice solid stop.
3)When installing the front with the car jacked up and the wheel off, you'll need someone to step on the brakes to tighten down the nuts on the spacers.

Yeah definitely. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." I have H&R spacers for my wheels and am totally confident in their reliability. Any indication of where these spacers were made?

I completely agree with what you guys said about going off-brand on something critical like wheel spacers, that's why I was so nervous about making the buy. It took me like two weeks of research before I even decided to try them. I even went through all the pages of feedback that the seller had. If these have problems, then I will look to H&R or Ichibas. There wasn't any indication of where these were made, but the quality of it and feel of it seems good so far, the hub ring and bolt in studs were all evenly straight and no gaps.

I DID HOWEVER, seen Ichiba issues on removal though, and these are so-called "non-ebay, brand name" ones now...

I have these spacers as well.
I had the Ichiba 15mm v2 spacers in the past, but sold them when I changed wheels. I ended up needing another set of 15mm spacers so I went with the ones from optionselects.
I actually think that these are as good if not better than the Ichiba spacers. The nuts are not as soft as the Ichiba, the spacer itself is made from the same
T-6061 Aluminum/Magnesium alloy. They fit the hub perfectly and I have had no issues what so ever.
I might be changing my tires soon so I might need a larger spacer soon, which I will go with Optionselect again.
Just because they are an off brand "ebay" part that doesn't mean that they are an inferior product.

Ichiba has their hands in several pots while it looks like otionselects only sells wheel spacers.
