Where to look for performance parts?

I want to upgrade my ride, but the only place that I really find is Z1 motorsports that has pretty cool parts for my car. It's just frustrating that every time I see a part and scroll down I see "does not fit" for my car. Am I just out of luck and unable to upgrade this model of the g35 at all? I have the HR engine which does seem to limit me on parts when I seek them as well. If anyone else knows of any places to look please let me know! I am tired of trying to find some only to find out they're for the coupe only or an older model before 2007.

Like, an exhaust, headers, brakes, rims, I believe Moshimoto makes a radiator for my car, but I'd probably have to replace the hoses as well.

Problem is that the G35x sedans [RIP my 2006] were not favored. If it's a 2007, that was just two years, so you're even more out of luck there. There's very little aftermarket for the AWDs. Exhausts have to have different routing bends to get around the transfer case; too few people buying so no one ever fabricated anything for the sedanX. Same for lots of other stuff. Coilovers...you'll have to Frankenstein things and live with excessive tire wear. Front end is where the problems come; rear end is same as RWD sedan.

Ah, ok, well I appreciate you taking the time to get back to me. I have frequented this site on/off in the past as it came up sometimes when I had issues with my car and I'd look them up. This forum/site is awesome!

Z1 has a ton of HR parts, so not sure what you mean by "doesn't fit." if you're going the exhaust mod route, might as well get their ported intake (upper/lower) also to make her breathe in/out easier.

honestly, just gut the cats or get some resonated hi flow ones instead (and maybe free up some airflow out the back) and get a tune from them with those ported intakes. you're not going to be maxing out the stock exhaust with these mods any time soon, imho.

Hit me up for an Uprev tune once you've got the bolt ons done. Really wakes up the AT with much better throttle response and crisper shifts.

Yes, even on a completely stock g35 it makes a huge difference. As long as it's mechanically sound with no major issues get up to date on your maintenance then tune. Really wakes it up. We can do it all remotely all you need is a windows laptop

Yes that's correct. I realized that but should have fixed it. I've edited the initial post.
