Are Z parts and G coupe parts mostly interchangeable?

Are Z parts and G coupe parts mostly interchangeable?
As a new G coupe owner I will assume that there are more shops and vendors for the 350z than the G coupe. For engine upgrades/performance is a part for a Z basically good on the G coupe? I realize they are not the same car, but they must share a good # of parts. Thanks.

there are many parts that are interchangeable between our cars and the z, but not everything can fit both.
