How to replace sunglass/map light and surround
Guys,
My sunglass holder door broke off, and I ended up buying the whole surround which includes the sunglass holder, map lights etc. I was looking at how to install it, and am not sure how. I did some searching and some people said the headliner needs removed, others said it didn't. Anyone know for sure? It's an 06 coupe with sunroof. Thanks,

There's about 8 circular metal clips that hold the assembly to the headliner. You need to access the other side of the liner in order to install. I would recommend removing the entire headliner since it is flimsy and might get damaged if you just try dropping the front half.
