Went to local shop for a Quote for installation on eibach springs and a exhaust : exoticspeed with y pipe ) and a aligment and they told me $480? Does this sound reasonable?

 

That's pretty freaking cheap actually. Go call around and ask about labor on shock replacement. Its the same amount of work as spring replacement, and you'll **** when you see how expensive it is. Then they're doing the exhaust and alignment on top of that. $480 is a steal. Probably 1/3 of what some places would charge.

 

Suspension installation would be around $200, exhaust about $150, and alignment about $100-150. So that sounds about right.

 

Pretty spot on. I like turning wrenches so I would do the coil springs my self and have a shop do the exhaust. Easier to do with a lift..

 

And if you are doing springs change your struts/shocks front/rear... Just saying...

 

Not a bad price when you consider the time involved! Springs take at least a couple hours and exhaust over an hour, then another half for alignment. If they charge $99 per hour, (average $ per hr) they're price is right on...Gary
