Excessively paint chipping on rear quarter side panels
Hey all, i'm a little new to the thread and was not sure where to post. I was looking for a similar post specifically for paint chipping on the side but couldn't find any. Anyways, I have a 2005 G35 coupe 6MT and for some reason, the rear quarter side panel chips really easily. I have driven other cars (sedan) on the same roads I always take and it never chips. I just bought the car on July 31st 2016 and it has just been a month a little bit. These chippings were never there when I bought the car.
This is on the drivers rear side.
This is the same side but above it.
This is on the left rear side.
This is the same left rear side but different angle.
What are my options in fixing these? I was thinking of using a touch up paint pen but it will just re-appear. I was also thinking of wrapping the whole car but was also wondering if paint chip will be more obvious.

Sorry to see you're dealing with this. Any chance your car's been repainted in the past? The chipping could be due to a crappy paint job. If not, I'm not surprised, Infiniti is notorious for using very soft paint and clear coat unfortunately. The joke around here for years has been the sticker under the hood that says something like "Paint is protected by Infiniti hard clear coat". What a crock of ****.
You could always fix the paint and then cover those areas with a clear bra material.
