Duralast batteries are made by Johnson Controls. This is the same company who manufactures batteries under these lines.

Diehard (Sears)
Duralast (AutoZone)
Interstate
Kirkland (Costco)
Motorcraft (Ford)
EverStart

Dave. Time for a new battery. They have a nasty habit of leaving you stranded and costing more for a tow than it would have for a good new battery in the 1st place.

Hey DB... my 04 started doing that late winter... went dead on me twice... added water... slow charged it overnight.. seems to be ok.. but sometimes it turns over slower than other times.. I started turning off my headlights when I park..., rather than using the "auto" turn off timer... gotta save those amperes.. ya know!

I'm looking at replacing it with an Optima Red real soon.. needs to be ordered, not easily found in stock at most the Auto parts stores here in Columbus..

I ordered my Optima online. There was a huge thread about batteries in here that I posted in. No one carries the reverse post config in stock

It's been great. But the NW weather isn't extreme. But if you note, the battery is RIGHT in front of the fresh air intake to the cabin. So with that in mind, I went with a sealed battery like the Optima. I think it might have been a few lbs lighter too.

I know this is an old thread... my symptoms are same as op just hasn't stalled... I have the duralast standard battery... also when I hit my alarm, it sounds like my horn is dead... but sometimes it's fine... also will replacing to a stronger battery effect my throttle response and shift response?
