Aftermarket Steering wheel help

Before i get flamed, i did use the search. Is there a good DIY for replacing your OEM wheel with an aftermarket one? Where can i get the parts (besides the wheel and hub) for this install? I dont want an SRS airbag light on either. I have also looked for the mythical part known as a Nismo resistor....with no luck and after numerous of phone calls to friends and dealers that provide Nismo parts im lost. I have a 2006 G coupe.
