I recieved the following information for Infinit Consumer Affairs. I am planning on writing a long letter to this person. Those of you who are experiencing seat issues, i.e. pain in right leg, might want to as well.

Re: For those with seat issues. Come in.
From speaking to the ICA rep (moron), he is supposedly the VP of Consumer Affairs. It's probably just his offce, and has people handling these issues for him.
BUT...A name is alot better than no name. At least now I/we can focus our attention onto someone.
So I ask if you are having issues with your seats as I am, please write into him, and let them have it.
thanks.

I really thought that this seat issue was just the person. Does the seats really that bad? I weigh 190lbs... I hope my 03 G will not have this issue. Which btw I drive 700 miles a week and this G35 will be the ride to do that in. But I hope this discomfort issue is just the person and not the actual seat.
Thanks
Thanks

you are going to write a letter about the seat causing you pain in the right leg? wtf! why dont you have a lawyer call them and sue for back problems because the seat arent as comfy as a benz. serious, if you dont like the seat, get another car, dont write a letter complaining about it,, thats crying over spill milk. total waste of time.

My 2005 6MT was at the dealer for a repair earlier this week and I had a 2004 25,000 mile loaner. I don't know if it was the 2004, or the fact that it had 25,000 miles on it, but I could definitely feel the tilt to the right and greater pressure on my right thigh. I drove a 2005 with 9,xxx miles on it a few weeks before and did not notice this. Being on the larger size ( 6'5", around 240 lbs ), I worried about this before I got my 2005. Since I went out of my way to get a car without a sunroof, I use the available height so that the seat controls put less pressure on my right thigh. When I sit in the loaner with sunroof, I have to put the seat all the way down ( and even then my hair still brushes the roof ) and in this position the seat controls on the 2004 put more pressure on my thigh. I am hoping that there is enough of a change in the 2005s ( or just being able to raise the seat on my 2005 ) that I will not experience the tilt and pressure that I had in that 2004.

I did not have any problems with the seats in my G until I rode in my son`s new GMC Denali. He can turn the seat heaters on for the lumbar region only, without having to toast your buns! I would love that. I have a collapsed lumbar vertebra, which responds well to heat. Note to you young guys: do not leap from perfectly good airplanes! It can be hazardous to the health of your spine, as well as other body parts!
