Rant on Warren Henry Infiniti
Down in miami there arent many dealers that are worth going to for service, just so happens closest one to me is Warren Henry. I took my car in for service on thursday for a couple of issues, none of which where fixed. The major issue was the seat. Back a couple months ago i took the car in to infiniti of coconut creek for my seat leather, it was cracking, folding, and sinking down. The dealer said they needed to order a new padding for the inside of the seat and i had to take the car cause i just needed it back for some reason.
the week before last i had time again to take it in, only this time i didnt take it to the one i bought the car at (45 min drive). Instead i took it to Warren Henry, which i only trust for oil changes..... but what ever - i just didnt have time. I took it in for a couple issues like i stated, the seat leather being one of them. A whole week later, i call in before heading on a road trip saying i needed my car and it was promised 2 days ago, and was told to pick it up at 5. Long story short, i getthe car back and the seat padding is replaced, and so was the leather.....but the drivers right side leg coushin was nothing but rinkled to the max, i mean....it looks like folded paper. I called for some service advisors, only to learn all of them had gone home (it was 5pm, they close at 6......)
The tech came out and i explained the issue and by the way he was talking to me, id love to know where the hell they hire these retards that do nothing but smoke pot and get tattoo's to work on 40k cars. I took the car home, and off i went on a 4 hour road trip. I planned on taking it to the other dealer sometime when i had a chance instead. 2 hours into my trip i noticed somethign strange on the side panel of the leg coushin where the seat controls are..... A HUGE HOLE! im like omg wtf. SOMEHOW they managed to poke 2 god damn dime sized holes in the panel to unscrew it, and not cover it up. I am sorry, but this is god damn rediculous, first of all you dont hire a HS drop out living with his parents to work on a car at a dealer of such calibre (or so it is meant to be). And second of all, it doesnt take a whole entire WEEK to... A) change the oil, B) Replace the seat padding, C) Fix a clutch scratching sound (which mind you the tech said to my face he did not hear, which right after he said i was sitting in my car, depressed the clutch with the car off and all you hear was a scratching sound as if a creaking door was closing)
/sigh - i cant believe they would be so god damn LAZY as to do something like this.

That does suck. But The holes in the switch panel are normally there. There just covered by a piece of tape. As far as I know you cant get just the piece of tape. If you get a new switch assy. it comes with the tape attached except for over the two mounting holes. Some of infiniti's cars have actual plastic caps that clip in. But unfortunately the coupes arent one of them
As for the clutch noise. We've replaced quite a few of them in 6 speeds at my work for that noise. Replacing it is the only way to get rid of the noise.
