Any Bay Area freelance Mechanic?
I cleaned my throttle body and now my car revs by itself on idle while in park or neutral (1500-2000 RPM). Need to trick the ECM into learning the idle air relearn but dont want to take it to the dealer. My friend who has been a long time forum member said there was a guy who fixes forum members cars at his house and used to me a infiniti mech. Any ideas or recommendations?

Pull the negative battery cable end, turn the lights on for a few seconds, back off, and then put back on the negative end.

Start the car, drive it around for a sec, see if it fixes it.
