Detailed Ron's New G

Ron (Gobsidian) dropped his new BO G35C off to me yesterday. Ron's G has only 24k kms on it, however the previous owner certainly neglected the paint. It had really heavy marring and spider webbing. At least the new owner will take care of it going forward.

I used Menzerna Power Gloss at first and then Poorboys SSR1 to get rid of the haze left by the PG. I then applied two coats of Poorboys EX-P sealant. Overall, I was happy with the results, however if I was able to keep Ron's car for longer, I would of made another pass with the PG or even the 0106FF. Ron, if you want to come back sometime this week, I'll put a coat of Natty Blue's Paste wax on it. That will give it a nice deep wet look. I hope you were happy with the results and that a flat of Alexander Keiths was worth it.

Some before pics.

And a few after shots.

Very pleased with the final result Shane!! I knew the paint was neglected but... not that neglected! I'll be taking you up on the wax offer for sure

The flat of Keith's was more than worth the price of admission!!

Ha, great job Shane. Incredible before and afters. I like the creative prize shot of the cars and the Keith's.

Ron got a fantastic deal with the amount of work that obviously took.

Awesome Job Shane. Did you use your PC to get rid of the swirl marks?

Doesn't surprise me! A lot of effort and strain on that PC he was using. He was sweating on my paint within 10 minutes of starting my hood!

Seems like a good workout plan!

Yep, I sure did Christian. I used my PC with along with a yellow pad and Menzerna Power Gloss. The PC can certainly do wonders on a car.

Yeah man, it was quite warm doing it. You saw how much I was sweating just after the first few minutes. Good thing I had some Keiths to cool me down.
