1. Go to the Florida G35 Club website.

2. Membership levels are explained in detail on the club website. Should you have any questions after reading the "MEMBERSHIP" section, feel free to send a PM to Dabomb, Demonteverde321 or your local FGC director.

3. If you have a Paypal account established simply click on the link “HOW TO JOIN” at the top of the web page and follow the instructions. Setting up an account is so easy that even I figured out how to do it.

4. If you prefer to pay for your membership by writing a personal check (made the payable to FLORIDA G35 CLUB) simply mail the check to:



*Please send a Private Message to both SFLG35 and Demonteverde to notify them that you'll be sending in your membership. We only check the PO Box every couple of weeks unless we are expecting a payment.

5. For joining the club you will be allowed to participate in club events, you will be eligible to win items in the club raffles (attendance at the meet where the items are being raffled is required and you must be present at the time of the raffle to win), you will be able to get discounts through the club sponsors, you will be eligible for club member only group buys, etc…

6. After you join the club, send SFLG35 and Demonteverde a Private Message telling them your First and last name, your occupation, your G35driver screen name, your personal mailing address, your e-mail address (and if you are a Premier Member your t-shirt size) so we can process your membership and send out your official club membership card.

7. After your membership is processed, click this link and follow the instructions to gain access to our members only forum. (Where all of the cool club stuff goes on ).

That’s pretty much it. After you join up, please reply to this thread and let others see how many people have signed up! As of 12-30-2005 we are up to 150 members and growing. We look forward to meeting all of you at our up and coming "All Florida Meets".

This is a great opportunity to create something special for the Florida G35 community. Neff has taken the bull by the horns and has established the club, signed up some really good sponsors, set up a great place for our first all Florida meet and put a web site up. (All of this in just the last two weeks.) The rest of us need to support his efforts in making this endeavor a success by becoming members. The $25.00 is a small investment for the returns this club can offer.

That puts us up to 9 people so far. I'll be paying my dues tomorrow at the bank, this would make me the 10 person to join. I'll write a separate check and deposit that to keep things simple for accounting purposes.

Well guys, I just sent in $50 via paypal for the wife and I. I wanted a public record of me joining the club so there would not be any issues as to whether I paid or not. Also I thought that it would be good form to follow Mr. and Mrs. FLFIRE's lead.

More good news, MiamiG35sedan joined the club today! I never got a confirmation e-mail from paypal, but the $26.00 showed up in the club account. THANKS FOR THE EXTRA BUCK TO COVER THE PAYPAL FEES!

Interesting note, the paypal fees for one $25 transaction are $1.03, however if you send in $50 the transaction fee is only $1.75... I guess that's cool...

neff: paypal should only charge a fee if someone uses a creditcard or checkcard. it should not sharge a fee if someone has a bank account attached to it and does a money transfer. i did a money transfer. did it charge you a fee for mine?

 

Yes it did. I also did a money transfer (you and I were the only 2 so far) and BOTH of us were charged a fee. Let's take this conversation offline since this thread is only to show who signed up for the club.
