Diy Bose Hu Removal For 06...need Help

Bought a PAII-NIS, need help/ instructions for HU removal...any threads out there? Thanks...

What about for a 06 MT? I tried for a while to remove the shifter but I couldn't figure out how. Took me a while to figure out that the 06 shift lock has to be lifted out ratehr than pressed in. Has anyone done a AAI-NIS/2 install on a 06 MT?

No need to remove the shifter. Just pull up on the trim and move it out of the way with the tranny in 4th.
