atleast fix ur damn tire b4 selling it .. cost u $3 for a patch and less than 5 mins.. thats all im sayin
Well theres no need for the invoice i mean i believe you. Ebay sometimes has Super great deals and if your lucky enough then Bam you got yourself a deal! but its not all the time. True i can patch it myself but sometimes people dont mind a screw and atleast they can see the damage and stuff so i just post the pictures so everyone can see the defect. im not gonna be like hey nothing is wrong with the tires...which would be a lie but i was thinking about patching it if thats what it takes to sell it easier. Thanks for the info buddy

Well there is a price difference somewhat. the only thing is the 285/35/19 is purchased more often so they are easier to sell. The 305/30/19 not too many people buy them so i guess thats why price might be lower?? cause i did check ebay and i seen some sell very cheap like 270$ for 2 with like 60-70% tread which is pretty good. You wouldnt happen to drive a porsche cayenne would you?

You say there is 80% tread life which clearly isn't the case. Part of my profession is tires, I've been in the business for 8 years and can tell you what brand and model a tire is while it's rolling so I'm not pulling the info out of my a$$.

The wear bar is at 2/32nds, the tread on your tires is approx twice that so 4/32nds. I'll be nice and say 5/32nds. The wear bar indicates the tire needs to be replaced, PS2's start at 10/32nds so your useable tread is 8/32nds. If you have 3 out of 8/32nds left (5/32nds) then you're at ~40%.

Once again, I'm not bashing you, just educating, don't take it so personally. The best way to sell something is with an accurate description.
Well im actually very educated on tires myself im glad you are too but your looking at a picture maybe it has somewhat of a different effect on your end. But just so you know not all michelins come with 10/32nds these came with 8.5/32nds new. So you might wanna research just a tad bit more.seems like we just got off on the wrong end but glad we are talking much better now. thats where im pulling the 80% im getting a reading of 6.5/32nds and 7/32nds. So if you wanna be extremely accurate then the i guess you could say between 72% to 80% depending where on the tire i measure. So just FYI Some michelins come with 10/32nds and some with 8.5/32nds there are 2 different compounds/materials michelin uses but i dont know why they look and feel the same to me. I guess some have a bit more grip or maybe for rain performance maybe?
