That sounds awesome Ian.
Heck, Karen and I were out for a spin today putting some KMs on the FX (got 2100 kms in 2 weeks now).
I thought of heading your way, we should have.

....yeah, that would have been good.
I was in to work early this a.m., then things got quiet about 10.
I heard the GT-Spec calling me home

.....I should add that the quality of manufacturing is excellent with GT-Spec.
Everything fit perfectly.

Also, there does not appear to be any rubbing issues with the STB.
I have it set fairly close to the plenum cover.
.....there seems to be very little motion with this engine
I just used a piece of cardboard for a feeler gauge to get the spacing even.

The tower pieces also fit very nicely with no interference with a/c lines or electrical.
It is a bit of a squeeze getting past the wire harnesses,
but once dropped in place they both fit great.

The only negative point is that they don't include any instructions.
Install is VERY easy & straightforward,
but or someone that has little DIY experience an instruction sheet would help.
IDK if they have any online or not...

Looks nice

By the way, for the spacing, the guys over at MyG37 follow the "two credit card" rule. Basically stack two cards on each side to get the space right.

I want one of these.
The problem is that with every little mod like this, it postpones further my much needed drop.
So many mods, so little disposable cash, and for some really weird reason, I feel a rush to get them all done.

GT-Spec rear M brace with FI exhaust?

It looks like clearance is minimal even with the OE pipes.
IDK id the FI follows the OE path exactly or not

Has anyone installed this in combination with the FI exhaust?
....any clearance issues?
