Weatherstrip along doorsill Ripping easily

The weather-stripping along the lower doorsill of my 2003 G35 sedan tends to tear and get holes in them easily? Anyone else have this problem? Has anyone had them replaced by the factory? Was it covered under warrantee? I had noticed one small hole a few months after getting the car. Now it has multiple holes in the weather-stripping on driver and passenger side doorsills.
Thanks!

I had a hard time finding it because we all typed "weather stripping" as one word.

Here's the link:

I would give the dealer a try and see if they'll replace it.
