Thanks and yes im running stock cats and after the flex pipe we welded 2.5" pipe the to the x-pipe. From the x-pipe we went to the mufflers
Hey who said anything about being old?
I'm sure you've seen this thread, it made me feel like I'm not crazy. https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...5-too-old.html
I said it there and I'll say it
again. An enthusiast is an enthusiast whether they're 16 or 60. My car is daily driven 18K miles a year and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Wow, this shows I still have no idea about exhausts lol. The HKS has a larger can then the motordyne so odd that it droned more.
The motordyne sounds really good! I am jealous. We need some good 1>2 Gears WOT.
Yep stock cats and no drone or rasp anywhere in the power band. I can't wait to see how the ARTs change the tone and feel the gains they will produce. Interesting that you had rasp on your previous set up. I had the exact same set up with the 05 muffler and rasp was non-existent.

No I added a resonated mid pipe. I had the resonated XYZ and a straight mid in my first vid. Also hit UpRev today for a re-flash and replacing the HR Y, the CM, and my stock muffler with the MD cat-back pieces I picked up 10HP and 7 lb/ft of torque. Can't wait to see the results when I add the ARTs. I will post that info and another video when I get back from Cali.
Blue dream, you have resonated mid and resonated xyz? If so you will not have rasp, I had rasp with straight xyz and straight mid with art pipes. I added a reso to the xyz and no more rasp.

Yep that's what I'm running. I'm thinking about picking up a HFC module for the XYZ after the ARTs are installed as some of our inspection stations here pull out the sniffer. But I heard they reduce HP by ~ 5 so I'm not sure which way I'm leaning. I really like the sound of the exhaust, jaythree was with me today at UpRev and he couldn't stop talking about how good it sounded.

Thanks Mark
ART pipes to a Magnaflow 2-in 1-out pre-muffler (#12198), then 3" piping all the way back to a single tip Magnaflow rear muffler (#14834)
Some pics and a cold start vid for now

Sounds great Chris! Do I hear a touch of rasp at the top end? If so it might go away when the system is broken in.
Time for a re-flash if your tuned.

Took this vid the other day, figured I could post the vid here too. 2nd part and on of the video the sound is a little muffled because of the camera placement. Current setup is Sebring muffler with resonator remove on coupe midpipe (same as it would be if the sedans resonator was removed).
