I have the 06 coupe and the oem lights seems bright but the distance it covers is not good enough for me. I just wanted to know to increase the distance the lights cover should I just get 8000K bulb replacement or should I get the Infiniti G35 Coupe Fog Light HID Conversion Kit and would I have to bake the headlights for the conversion? I just need it to cover more distance. Thanks.

It is very hard to say what kind of visibility you will receive because it is dependent on your headlights. If you are choosing 8000k because you believe it will give you the more visibility that is not the case, all of our lights have relatively the same visibility. I would actually suggest the 6000k because there is less blue to that bulb.

As for the fog you will not have to open your headlight to convert the fog to HID, it will be a simple plug and play, just like the low beam.

Please let me know if you need anything else,
Michelle

Just ordered bulbs. Do you guys think they would be to NY by Thursday? Love your site by the way. Easy to navigate and very functional.

They will be shipped out first thing today and it usually takes 2-3 business days to get to NY so yeah if not Thursday then definitely Friday.

Can you describe the color of the light? Possibly show a picture?

Halogen bulbs are typically a more yellowish light, whereas HIDs are a brighter white.

HID's are also much brighter than halogen, and have ballasts. Halogen bulbs do not have ballasts.

Hope this clears things up,
-Nick C.

They look white, but I guess I'll check for ballasts. Pretty sure they are halogen though
