Condition: 10 - like new, installed for all of 5 minutes, never used beyond that.

I have the Hikkatadori hood, and it is made from rather weak fiberglass. So it was not possible to use them with this hood. Even trying to close the hood very gently with these struts would crack the hood.

i have a seibon ts style CF hood, you think theyll be alright?

To be honest, I don't know. I believe so since the Seibon hood is much more rigid than Hikkatadori. But to be sure you should search the forums. Or maybe someone with the hood and these dampers can chime in.

They sell hood dampeners for cf or fiberglass hoods..

if you have a fiberglass hood you have to purchase the carbon fiber hood damper because of the lower pressure in them.

Sold...

ill just put them back up for sale if they dont work out lol, reallllly wanted the polished over the cf

Yeah, I didn't realize that when I bought these. But this hood is so weak, I'm thinking even the lower pressure dampers would be too much.
