FS: Avery Dennison Satin Black Nero Vinyl 75ft
Absolutely not. Super cheap chinese brand. On their samples they sent to the wrap shop, a 3" x 5" sheet, the vinyl had shrunk a good 3-4mm around the edge just from being shipped over. Imagine this on a larger scale where it's actually been applied to the car, it would lift everywhere. AND their lamination is usually garbage too, so it would scratch extremely easily and in some cases would peel off of the actual vinyl.
I will say that getting the newer films from them is mandatory, since the old films with old style adhesive don't conform very well at all and have garbage air release.
Thinking about it now, I'd still put them underneath the big brands since their films definitely discolor much easier than normal, at least in my limited experience.
All in all I think it's still a viable option if you're on a budget, but looking at it all in hindsight that G was decently more difficult to wrap where it probably wouldn't have been if I used avery.
I just went from 90% support to about 50% in the course of typing this. Its a decent film but the weird pliability and ease in discolorating are a tradeoff for having a nice warranty.
@Con how would you be able to tell if that vinyl is good to use or not before applying it? Since Alb's vinyl is two years old, would the film start not sticking to the backing paper if it's spent? I'm curious as to how a professional would tell
