Helpful review for people wanting to know what the book is about, but not unbiased as there's a link to buy the book at the bottom.

The review's author has a site with many interesting articles on the topic of creating profitable websites.

My wife probably wishes I'd read all of this stuff, as I'm still following the "provide a unique, valuable service, and assume the money will somehow happen" approach. Which will no doubt take longer to make less money.

As for Godzilla, I gotta respect the polite way he has responded to some of the more mean-spirited posts here. He has no doubt put a ton of time and money into creating this forum, which most people use for free. I know what it's like to provide a free service and then have users criticize this or that thing you're doing with it. Constructive criticism is one thing, mean-spirited comments are another.

hey

By the way..totally off topic, but, If You feel so bad for your sister w/ 4 kids, and if you earn that kind of living, & financially stable etc. than the least you can do is provide for her and help her out financially if you care so much? Whats the big deal right? Its your sister, your blood. Cheers!

I’m not out to take advantage of anyone, I’d rather help the ones that have always wondered if and how they could do it.

I think its lame that people like my sister(single mom w/4 kids) and has to work 2 jobs just to get by, but I'm able to make almost her yearly income in 2 months based off everything provided in that link.

I dont want to get too much into my personal life here but last week I went and visited them and it just killed me seeing it, being around them like that the kids barely getting time to enjoy with their mom. Dont believe me guess what I DONT CARE. Damn now I'm starting to sound like that "rich jerk guy"

Sorry for my rant..
and madchef, evileagle, Yv12345vY sorry you guys feel that way, my intentions are not to abuse things just try help people out, as I've always done.
