This is for bumping old threads right? How does the board determine if it's better to add info to an existing thread vs wasting everyone's time with a new thread when one already exists?

I noticed, if I post in the same thread within a 30mins time span, I get negative points. I think that rule is lame.

I get like -19 - 20 all the time cause I post like 10 times in a few minutes in useless threads and various different useless threads. Get it fixed please
