Svenson, I believe your asking price is too high. I contacted a vendor that carries the ALT wheels and I can get the Wraith in 19" staggered for $750 shipped to my door.

I contacted them and they told me the staggered setup would run $100 extra. Free shipping too.

Don't take offense- this forum exists as a community where owners and enthusiasts can meet to assist one-another in enjoying their cars. That includes advice on modification routes, quick fixes to common problems, and a little bit of due diligence when it comes to new purchases.

All 400DGRZ has done is show everyone in this community the true market value of the wheels you're trying to sell. If you acquired them at a higher price, I'm really sorry- but don't get upset when the market calls BS on your asking price.

As it stands now- I've found this thread amusing enough to read through it even though I'm certainly not in the market for wheels, so your marketing is pretty good. Your clear choice for a "quick sale" on these that you keep asking for is to drop the shipped price to below the available price of $750 from the other vendor. $700 would probably do it- a good $500 off your initial asking price (ouch).

Good luck- and please respect the intelligence of the people you're trying to sell to.

I believe that...ALT rims are pretty cheap...wholesale price for those 19s are probably around $125-$150 each at most...

I wouldn't know the wholesale price I bought them from the store. To tell you the truth I did my research and Volk wheels are made in the same place that ALT wheels are made and they are considered top of the line on this website. "Taiwan" just like the rest of the industry except for the
3 piece wheels, some are made in the United States and japan. Vellano, HRE, Maya, Lowenheart, etc.

Are you saying that ALT rims are of a similar quality to Volk/Rays because they're both produced in the same country???

Even if they are indistinguishable in quality from a much more expensive set, the price is what's in question; these wheels can be bought elsewhere for MUCH less money. Taiwan or otherwise.

In fact 35 % of Axis wheels are made by gravity Casting at the ALT facility.

Cool

The only difference is that ALT does not market the wheels and don't promote well like Rays, Axis or Volk.

Please enlighten me. How much do these weigh? And are these wheels forged??

Even my production coupe 19s are about 20lbs each. (Which are maufactured by Rays)

How much does the rear of that ALT weigh? All the ALT wheels I've seen are cast, not forged. And are quite a bit heavier.

As a newbie I would spend time exploring the site first before I go posting. Get familiar with it. BTW - those look like ALT Wraiths.
