What? so then i made 2 screen names? whatever... MRC, first off, nobody hear is defending the actions, if any were taken, of superdude. All of this back and forth on this thread is all about you bashing me for stating an opinion. I simply stated that it just doesn't sound right that a shop would just basically send out a turbo kit and not even know the person, just by what he said, that he was gonna be in a photo shoot!!! Question, would you do it? I think not. Now, I also mentioned that in the post Turbo Tim wrote, he did not mention anything about using stolen credit cards. I just wanted to point that out since you're the one who stated that in your post. Furthermore, I am not bashing your shop in any way, just stating that your being an *** to me cause I'm not agreeing with you 100%. And once again, i am NOT superdude!!! If he happened to register when i did, so be it... So basically, if you're ever in disagreement with MRC you will get bashed on the forums... Nice...

how about someone just pings this dude and see if he's the real dude. simple enough... IP vs IP.

I'd bet Colin could tell us the registration IPs of both of them

either way, we know Justin IS watching these threads whether he is signed into a handle or not

This of course makes no sense what so ever. If it were soley the shop's decesion to back out, why didn't superscammer PAY already? They are waiting for payment and even saw superscammer SELLING the kit.

And if this is soo fishy and if superscammer is innocent, why isn't superscammer coming in and defending himself??

You argument holds no water what so ever.

Sounds like you agree to sponsor him but, either it fell through or you changed your mind or whatever and now you want full payment for it. Cause like I said, why would you front him the turbo? If you've been doing business for a while, and even if you haven't, like MRC said, you should of blown him off. Second, I don't see anything on the first thread about stolen credit cards being used so, this is simply a case of he said, she said. And since you were dumb enough to front him the engine, why would authorities assume he "stole" it or conned you? For that he would of never given you his real name and other details... Sounds like you got F'd and now you just trying to get back at him. Cause why didn't you post up sooner about this? I don't know, this sounds kinda fishy to me!!! And by the way, like the other guy said, best bet is beating his ***. He hasn't even said anything and his story sounds better than yours. Furthermore, just cause you file a police report doesn't mean he has a warrant out or that the parts are considered "stolen"!!! Just means you filed a report stating what you believe happened to you. Doubt they are gonna press charges just on what you say and before speaking to Justin. Also, I'm sure the police are scratching there heads saying what an idiot you are and that you deserve it!!!

By the way, I'm looking for sponsorship, along with a few friends of mine, were gonna be in the movie Fast and Furious 18, can you spot me a twin turbo setup and suspension? Need it cause shooting is gonna start in a few days. Thanks!!!

Simple question, would you send someone a complete turbo kit valued in the thousands to someone across the country that you don't know, even with a few deposits?

here's another simple question, if you worked at a dealership, would you order someone you don't know a $90,000 car and then have it shipped half way across the world to your dealership because they ordered it and gave you a small $1500 deposit?

duhh this happens daily and is common practice...

oh ps... someone should ping him now

or would you sell someone a $90,000 car when the person only puts $2000 down and you have to hope that he sends you the payments over the next few years??

hmmm

OK, that's gotta be one of the single worse arguments I've ever heard.
Dealers are insured against fraud of this type.
Financing someone a car is MUCH different than shipping them parts.
Holding a deposit in the hopes they are going to buy a car is different too. you're not sending them the car based on the deposit.
Sending someone ANYTHING without 100% of your money is just plain silly no matter how you want to slice it.
Is it fishy, not really, I just see a serious lack of commen sense in the whole thing
The guy is going to get his winkie smacked by local authorities at best, but .. unfortunately, the crime didn't happen in his town.... it happened in the shops town.. His police report will stop there... I've delt with jackasses on the net PLENTY O' times and it always ends the same way.. Nothing gets done.

Back onto the "$90,000" car analysis.. The shop can always reposess the parts, but that requires stealing them back, as finance agencies often have to do.
As for not buying the parts in fear of consequence. Well, depends on what he's selling them for.. haha.. j/k.. :P

The dealership I go to for service fronted me some about a grand in body parts. Sent them to my body shop where my car was being worked on. Gave me a discount and didnt ask for a penny until I went in for service.

Keep in mind I never met the parts guy and didnt buy my car from this dealer. So yeah there are trusting people out there and scammers like superslug, aka NJG for all we know, are ruining the value of a mans word.

And if you arent him you sure are blighting yourself by defending him or even trying to rationalize the act of theft altogether.

I take a 50% deposit for Hardwood, Granite, Tile etc when we're installing the product, than we take the other 50% when its done... how do I know they'll pay up? Trust my friend, but in our case we at least can lien their house if they decide not to pay... still, its common practice to send stuff with only a deposit.

It happens all the time. It USED to be called trust and honor. Both of which you and superdude seem to be severly lacking.

Anyone questioning the truthfulness of this story (or hacking on the aggrieved party) is simply retarded.

I have been fronted parts before as well - it's not all that uncommon.

MRC, I'll keep an eye out on my forums for this assclown. If Kyle can PM me his IP, I'll see if he's registered.
