I wrapped an oem front bumper I shipped in about 2 inches of bubble wrap and sent it FedEx for $25. It got there just fine.
I can't believe the fuss some people put up over shipping body parts. Fiberglass I can understand since it's brittle - it needs to be boxed. But if it's urethane and it's designed to be installed on the OUTSIDE of a car and get whacked by rocks and splattered with bugs going 80 mph, I'm sure (and I've proven) that it can survive a 3-4 day trip on the INSIDE of a truck. As long as you insure it, you'll be just fine.

wow 25 bucks sounds great. Wonder why so many people want at least a 100 unless their making extra monies on the shipping =0

I think the bumper is over size package and weight isn't light either and I think is a bit more then $25 to ship.

i shipped a front lip from FL to Cali for $21 UPS ground, so if its a full bumper most diffinitly more then $25

it's a lot cheaper if you don't have packaging (i.e. - just wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic). I shipped four 19" wheels and tires this way for about $120 fedex ground... with boxes around each of them, shipping would have been $260

I promise you, it cost me around $25 to ship an oem front bumper.
Without it being in a box, it is just under the maximum length for a standard ground shipping item. And it is VERY light weight - I don't remember, but it's no more than about 15 lbs. The oversize/freight charge comes in when you put it in a box.
Believe me, I took the damn thing to FedEx myself and shipped it. I know first-hand.
