Clutch pedal adjustment Kit

The TECH has just released a clutch pedal adjustment kit for G35 and 350Z. It works great.

Kind of ridiculous that they are all scared to tell you what it is and exactly how it works.

I'm guessing it is a replacement or spacer or something for the clevis that attaches the plunger to the pedal. I would hope it allows for some adjustment somehow.

My main concern about it is the helper spring interaction with the clutch itself and the lower pedal travel. Lowering the pedal will cause the helper spring to constantly apply force to the plunger. It will not be enough force to disengage the clutch or anything -- but it might be enough force to stop the clutch pedal from returning reliably. This was the case in my car when I adjusted the pedal travel down towards the floor.

Unless the kit somehow accounts for this by perhaps giving us a way to adjust the helper spring active area... or otherwise prevents the helper's spring "help" from interfering with the clutch pedal's reliable return, I can't see myself buying it. And, I don't think it's possible for him to convince me without showing me treasured secrets and risking being "ripped off." So, I guess I'll hold onto my $40 until someone else posts enough info about it that demonstrates to me that they fully understand the issues involved and prove to me that the product solves them fully.

The helper spring interaction is EXACTLY the same before and after installing the kit. The kit was designed with the weak helper spring in mind. All I can say is to talk to someone who has one .

looks like no one has one and there it not a pic yet...also shouldn't this be in the VENDOR section since you don't have one to sell...doesn't seem fair to the other vedors who pay to sell their products here

Why don't you guys take a look at this thread and read my posts...

http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=278667

It's not the same thread as the one RedondoG mentioned in the first post.
I also wrote a review on it there too. No need to be skeptical man.. I had a lol of doubts about the kit as you can see in the thread I linked above. I wish I had found out about this fix sooner but hey, at least I have it now. I know bunch of my friends want it after they felt mine and I can't think of any reason why anyone wouldn't want it.
Read that thread... you'd be surprised how skeptical I was before trying it. I even asked if it's some kind of $2 home depot stuff.. lol
$40 for a REAL fix to the clutch engagement problem is insanely cheap. It's worth every damn grain of copper in the penny

Received item today and the install was extremely easy. Many thanks OP as this product works great!

Below is my comment I posted on my350z...

Got home from work and did the install right now. As others have indicated the install itself was extremely easy and the product does exactly what others have claimed.

One word of caution, if you did the manual clutch adjustment by lowering the pedal height, you definitely want to put it back to normal height before installing. I made the mistake of disregarding the instructions (it clearly states to do this but I thought i would be okay cause i went conservative on height adjustment) and I had an extremely difficult time getting my car into gear. Upon adjusting the pedal height back to normal, or what i think is normal, i was able to shift w/o any problems.

Yeah seriously. I'm very interested, but won't every buy without some pics. I know they're concerned about copies, but anybody who really wanted to do that would just spend a few bucks to buy it and go from there.
