FT: My 1st Carputer
I no longer have a need for my first carputer so it's time to let it go. The link to the unit is in my first sig. Basicly it is the full mini pc (case, mobo, 512mb ram, 20gb hd ,whatever software is on the hd, carnetix power/shutdown controller. The carnetix piece is awesome, works via ignition and makes sure you don't drain your battery. I also have the power brick/wire for home use. What you would need to get this running is a monitor, gps mouse($30 on ebay) and a few cables to interconnect.
What I am looking for is something that I don't have and could use, possibly audio gear to up my stock blose which already has a 500/1 & 10w6v2. Front Component speakers, amp,or anything else I could enjoy on the G.
Edit
SELLING for $275 or trade for a JL 500/5 or some good components speakers.
ADD: I also have a 10 disc Kenwood CD Changer and an extra ITPS unit.
and some other stuff here. I can either sell it or trade it for whatever I could use.

I'll sell it outright for $275 firm. I have way too many electronics at home and my girlfriend is complaining about them like I complain about her purse and shoe collection. Heres your chance to get a carputer dirt cheap!

Here are some pics..\
1st is the pc and the power supply/shutdown controller/stabilizer.
2nd pic is the home use power brick and power wire to the pc to allow you to use it at home.
Specs are.. 600mhz processor, 256mb ram, 20gb laptop drive, fan controller inside to cut down on noise. This system was built with power consumption, stability and noise in mind. The controller adjusts the power to a stable 12v and also takes care of turning on the pc with the ignition and softly shutting it down when the key is turned to the off position. In the event that windows hangs, it will hard cut the power to the pc after about a minute or so , this way you don't kill your battery. You will need to get some cables to interconnect this to a screen and some power cables from your battery. For gps, a gps mouse ($30 on ebay) and for wifi, a wifi adapter is needed. You will also need a way to get the audio into your sound system. For stock, you can get a pac niss2 or an fm modulator. For aftermarket, just get a phono to rca adapter cable and run it into the input if it has one. Any other questions, feel free to post them here.
