Damn, someone is sensative. Contact Gruppe-S if you want a good deal on Work VS-XX brandnew for what Jeffrey Song is saying. You got to wait but then again you'll get brand new wheels. To each their own, not knocking you suhochunsah but just trying to present all sides. The advantage of paying 2500 for the used 9.5 by 10.5 is that you can get them now and not wait 6 to 8 weeks.

Sensitive? are you referring to me? Jeffrey Song clearly had other things in his mind when he posted on my thread. Anybody else may not think that way because they wouldn't know what happened previously. It wasn't a big deal but Jeffrey Song seems to think otherwise and he tried to do a little payback.

Can we f*ckin please move on now? For the millionth time, these wheels are 19x9.5 & 19x10.5. They are NOT 19x9 & 19x10.
If anyone knows where to get better deal for new wheels, regardless size, PLEASE buy it at the place you know, instead of wasting your time to convince me here. I know how much they usually sell for, I know how much more they are from other sizes, and I also understand that many people may find whatever size wheel for however much price at any given shop.
I really don't understand why some of you guys are constantly comparing the price of my set to another set that's different from mine?

Yes, you don't have to wait weeks or sometimes months to get the wheels. I guess that's one of the advantages if anyone was really wondering...
You have to also keep in mind that 19x9 & 19x10 are not flush with the fender. The whole wheel looks more concaved into the car, whereas the 9.5 & 10.5 would be more flush with the fender. Although you can probably use same size tires, the difference is quite noticeably still there. The lip would be bigger on my set compared to 9 & 10 combo as well. When and if you decide to resell, 9.5&10.5 will sell more easily because this setup is highly more favored by fellow members compared to the 9&10. I don't know about the setup that Gruppe-S sold but other places have noted that the gold + black rivets are slightly more expensive than the ones without black bolts.

$2400 for a new set of 9x10 sounds like a good deal if you're looking for that setup. Most people choose the 9.5 x 10.5 setup because of the things that I pointed out above (and or other reasons). All those things play a role in the final price of the wheels that shops sell for. If they didn't, we'd be comparing the full retail prices of the wheels straight up.
I'll ask you individuals again. Can we stop with the silly arguments over things that aren't the same? You know, apple to apple & orange to orange thingy?
My set is 3 months old and the wheels are in excellent shape. They are 19x9.5 & 19x10.5 (did I repeat this enough times already?) and they are NOT sold for $2400 brand new.

I didn't state "OBO" because what I want is the asking price. However, you can also see that I never stated "firm" either. Meaning if you're serious, I'm willing to work with the buyer to make things work for both parties. Can't go too much off the asking price but I will consider your offers. I never give a fat middle finger as a reply to people for giving me "low ball" offers in honest effort to save themselves some hard earned money. If you want em, offer away. If you think your offer is too small, chances are, it probably is but offer anyways. You can't win the lotto if you don't buy any lotto tickets right? Although not often, I do see ridiculous lowball offers by some immature kids every now and then which is why many people get annoyed by "low balling". I personally think it's stupid of the seller to turn down offers in a bad way because they're basically kicking off potential buyers.
When I buy something, I offer lower than the price I'd be ok with to see if seller would be cool with it. I'd gladly pay whatever amount more but it doesn't hurt to ask right? If seller tells me to go f*** myself for "low balling", they sure ain't hearing my real offer (many times, their asking price).

If you still have something against anything I said above, then I have no interest in doing business with you. I don't have a gun pointed to anybody's face so, please leave my thread and purchase the wheels you'll be happy with.

USANSealKYoon: Thanks for pointing that out...

Yeah... I only told him what Status is because he said he never heard of them. I never mentioned a thing about any specific wheel nor their pricing. If you look at post #11 on the first page of this thread, Jeffrey kindly quoted the post which he thought was bashing his thread. If you look at the person who said it, it's g35brother. There's no way in hell he can overlook the name and thought it was me.
Personally, I don't think it was really "bashing" his sale; although it probably wasn't helpful to Jeffrey's sale. But then again, we're not here to hide anything or rip each others off. A friendly heads up is meant to share the knowledge so we don't overpay for things.
The main reason I started to go off on Jeffrey was because I knew he was only trying to get back at me for saying things to him about one of his many, rather suspicious, sales of wheels. It's very obvious that he didn't give a crap about the advantages. I mean, what kind of idiot would ask such a question? If there's a new set like mine selling for less than what I'm asking, there simple wouldn't be a single advantage for buying a used set at higher price.

Jeffrey: You've bashed my thread enough times already. I'd appreciate it if you can stfu and really stay that way this time. The more you talk, the more you look like a dumb a** to me.

UPDATE: The wheels are off the car and boxed up, ready to be picked up or shipped out.

I don't have brembos on mine so I wouldn't know...
I believe they clear stock brembos... i'm not 100% sure tho. i heard some people saying it does, i heard some saying it requires the smallest size spacer.. 5mm or something. Does anyone know for sure?

Hey what's up Larry~ joined us on the G community? Welcome~!
