I want to see/know how hard it is to wire so that it is clean looking.
Do we need to take apart door panels, etc etc

these can be used to look really classy.. or really ricer! if you take the time to install these right, you will probably have to remove the door panel, or mount a switch or something of the sort depending on how you want them to work.. i would wire them to the dome lights so.. ON with the open door, and OFF when the door is closed.. just like the new Lexus'

I am wiring 3 to the door panel dome light on each side and installing the lights on the bottom side of the side skirts and then putting 2 under the bottom side of the hood so with hood popped at night car shows the engine is flashy! I will post pics once the install is complete!

not yet....still working on how to wire them on the hood to keep a clean look.....I am wondering also when i wire them underneath there if they will get to hott and melt.

if you keep the lights towards the rear of the hood, such as over the battery and MS they wont get hot at all.. if you have your engine cover on still i doubt it would get hot enough sitting right above them.. it would be hot to see some light come from underneath as well! entire engine would be lit

well i may try to wire them to the clear corner lights....that run at night time...see if i can light up th engine!!

no point in having them on when your hood is closed though.. switch is much more practical
