Not to threadjack, but I would like to share my quick feedback about the Amsoil filter.

You will not be able to tell a difference at all. I ran the K&N before I switched to the Amsoil. There is no difference. The only reason I would switch to the Amsoil is if you are tired of rechargin the K&N. I went back to the K&N b/c when I serviced the Amsoil air filter, no matter how much I tried to clean it (with a pressure hose and shop vac), the dirt remains in the folds.

I switched back to the K&N b/c you can see the dirt getting cleaned out of the filter when you wash it. I'm keeping the Amsoil filter for those days that I service my K&N. I hope this helps.
