3M Protective Headlight Film!
3M Protective Headlight Film!
I used to own a 2004 G35 and wished I found this sooner. I just wanted to share w/ you all a good find.
I was searching for something to protect my motorcycle headlights from getting rock chips and other damages. I met someone who is a dealer in 3M protective film.
These are 30 mil (0.030") thick pvc coating that are made by 3M, are UV-resistant, designed not to yellow or fade in the sun. I liked it so much I bought and installed a set for my Jeep Commander and my Lexus, and my Sienna too.
The install was pretty easy. Just use a blow dryer to adhere the film to the bends. It took me 30 minutes, including the prep time to clean the headlights and foglights.
I did some scouting around on the net for this product. Here is a link to it's review on webbike world:

Other places I found the same Xpel stuff for around $85 a set for my Commander (headlights & foglights). The ebay stuff for cheap I do not trust...
The stuff I got are genuinely made by 3M, with the 3M label on the backing. They come in DOT-approved clear, as well as tinted (non-DOT approved) in light blue, yellow, and smoked. They are computer cut custom to each vehicle make and model.
I can get the stuff for $50 + a $7(/set) flat rate shipping for a complete set for the G35(and most other vehicles).
If you are interested, just PM me with the make, model, and year of your vehicle along w/ the clear/color choice of film. I have them on and love them!
