It's for the 10. It hits nice and crisp. I listen to everything from rap-hard rock-house/techno-and even opera. IMHO, the 10" is far superior for playing all genres. The 12 is great if you primarily listen to hip hop but the bass is just not as sharp as a 10".
NJ TPKE is tough, but I will be making a trip to James Tint in Middletown in 2 weeks on a Saturday. I can easily meet somewhere along 84, 684, or the Hutch.
