I bought a new set of SSR rims and Blizzak LM-22s, staggered, at Tires23 in Mississauga, going tomorrow to get them put on. $1900 all-in, but you can get a full set for around $1500 if you go with a cheaper rim and Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds instead. www.tires23.com

Consider looking at my 4 Dunlop Graspics DS 1s I am selling in the GTA. I'm pretty sure mounted onto cheapo steel 17" wheels that they will be perfect for your vehicle. You'll probably need to buy a single matching tire (dealer told me it'll be about $150) because one is more worn then the other 3 ( an alignment issue on one of my wheels but the other 3 have about 70% treadlife remaining after driving them for the past two winters - on a G35 6MT) but altogether you'll be spending only about $350 for a set of solid name brand tires with at least 2 1/2 winters worth of driving in them. It's an option if budget is a concern and I am local which is helpful.

Anyways - good luck on your hunt - just giving you a head's up.
