SOLD to my cousin.


Ok guys, as some of you know, I got rid of my G. I have the AEM cold air intake (minus the filter) that I am including in the package. But primarily I am posting this intake up since I know most of you love the hard to find parts. This is a Top Fuel / Zero 1000 CF Power Chamber Intake that I have for sale. Til this day, I think I'm the only G that I've seen with this intake. For those not familiar with Top Fuel, they are the company that built a full CF body S2000 that shattered the Time Attack Records in Japan last year. I believe Super Street along with the other mags covered the vehicle. I had no problems with the intake and I'm sure this will make the next owner happy. Had the intake on my car for maybe 1/2 a year while building a project car with Top Fuel USA. Price is firm for both at $150. If you want just the AEM CAI piping its gonna be $50.

I call 1st dibs pending condition of the intake.

 

the condition is "like new." I had it on the car for a couple months, then sold it after, getting pulled over, one too many times.

 

oh, and mines a lil different. the hoses were changed to red samco hoses with the zero 1000 logo on it. to some thats a good thing?

 

I wonder why not too many people have these?

the company just reached US shores last year and was under the name of ZERO 1000, aka TOP Fuel. they are still trying to do some major marketing through events (i.e. time attack, shows, and what not) to get their name out. in Japan their name is gold, over here, like everything else, takes a lil time to get recognition. but trust me, there products are very nice. limited, but very nice.

Yea.. but i've seen this advertized in tuner mags for a long long time.. This is one of the first intakes I looked at since I purchased my car in feb 06, but i couldnt find a vendor anywhere, even Ebay.. so to reiterate my question.. Why have we not seen these sold more often? Was it the lack of mass media advertising? Was it the price? what kind of numbers do we see from this "power chamber"? Or is it purely asthetics?
