to get rid of that damn door molding SHAWDOW? My friends are telling
me to..go to a Buff Shop so they can buff it out..Will it be expensive to Buff this out? ..

the shadow might be gone depending on how long it was on there, how long your car sat in direct sun, how often you waxed...

thats never going to go away... its because your paint has faded from the sun where the paint under the bumper was never touched by sun for however long they were on for. i took my inifinti lettering off my 03 coupe after i had it for 2 years, and now no matter what is done with the perfect lighting you can still see the infiniti letters in the paint... ive had it washed, waxed and compounded many times and its still there. the only way to truely get rid of it is to repaint

^^*repaint!? are you serious..well im goin to call a couple of shops 2morrow..shiet if i have to repaint i might as well buy the factory door molding again and put them on!
thats the cheapest fix i could think of... if you took them of say a year after the car came out of the factory it may be a possiblity to make it make eventually but after so much times the car fades from the elements

Ya shouldn't have taken them off in the first place! I bought and put mine on... some don't like the look, I don't mind the extra line but really I just have to look at them and see the damage done to them and say "GLAD I BOUGHT THESE CAUSE THAT WOULDA BEEN MY DOOR!"
Good luck man! If you do have the car buffed, post pix afterwards, but I personally don't think it'll "come off" because the underlying paint color is what has changed in the rest of the car, those two lines were protected...

Try "goo gone", ScratchX, and bug+tar remover. Normal wax and washing will not get that off. Also you can heat the glue with a hair dryer or heat gun to get it off easier.
Then have the car buffed by a detail shop.

so you ended up putting the molding back on?
its crazy how diff the color is, almost as if it was another color under there
i took mine off after two years and dont have a shadown what so ever
