FS: New in box Megan Coilovers minus springs

For sale is a brand new (in the box) set of (4) Megan Racing coilovers (street version). They have never been used or installed. They are only missing the original springs, so you can choose any spring combination you want. They are the original valved shocks just as if you bought them directly from Megan Racing (just minus the springs). Also comes with the extended adjusters, spanner wrench's, all instructions, original warrantee, and stickers. The original springs are 10K front, and 8K rear standard coilover type springs and are readily available. With these shocks/coilovers you have the option to choose your own spring rates to whatever you like. We recommend anything from a 8-12K for the front, and between a 6-10K for the rear as these shocks are valved to work within that range.

Contact Pete at Bc Racing and tell him what your thinking about buying, he may be able to help you. They aren't in the business of selling parts, but when I needed to get softer front springs for a Megan setup, he helped me.

Do not run them with springs that are stiffer then the kit comes with. I had the same coilovers as a test for Megan and a reseller, I got better results by lowering the front spring rate to 8Kg, they didn't feel as underdampned. IMO, get four 8Kg springs. BTW, they use 63mm inside diameter springs, vs the typical 65mm inside diameter springs. Since Bc Racing is the oem maker, their springs are also 63mm ID.

Gsedan35, I like that -- a true hands on guy. I'll look into it. Thanks for the informative post.
