can this screen be fabricated into an 04 to make it go up and down automatically?? opposed to spring loaded...

I think that would be hard to wire up if you don't have the oem nav. I would buy it in a heart beat if there was some kind of wire up just to put a oem screen and then plug it to your ipod.

So the screen is spring loaded?

Also, what size is the stock screen? 4.3" wide?

I wonder if we can retrofit these into cars without nav

is this motorized??? or spring loaded/? also ......how many wires?? 1 white and 1 yellow???

can this just be tapped into any video feed source? like ps2 or a dvd player??

it's motorized. you have to use a RGB converter like www.tvandnav2go.com to make it work.

also, i never tested out this unit ever since i bought it... I am trying to get it tested locally.. I'm trying to find someone with their dash apart but there's nobody yet.

I have an avic d3 installed in my 04. Could I add this and have dual screen setup, connect this as if it was a rear source? Just a thought, would be kinda cool

another question, i was looking at the pics again and noticed that the close up on the right edge had some dent or something:
its circled


what is it? is it just me or is it the lighting?
