I finally got the clock trim piece out......(the whole pinching thing that everyone does i guess didnt work on my car) ....... The metal clips were like bent open so it wouldn't come out....but after using 2 putty knife scrappers wrapped in cloth i went it from each side and pried it out

but now after removing all the bolts (1 by clock and 2 down by shifter at the bottom of the clock)

i have a 2004 with bose...have all the bolts removed but cant seem to get access to the wiring harnesses and get it to come loose

should i remove the lower panel and side panels also ??? where the 12v power sources are??? and the glove box???

I dont know what else its stuck on.....i got the bolt on by the clock and the 2 at the bottom.....it seems to wiggle but its still stuck in there

you have to drop down the glove box, your underbody piece under the steering column, both side panels, the center shifter area along with the console have to be removed. once all of this is done then you can acess the radio which there should be 2 bolts on the bottom and one on the top holding down a metal peice. one that is removed you have to put your car into drive and slide the radio out. once that is done you can access the radio wiring harness from behind.
